Available Las Vegas Vacation Packages

Las Vegas, the "Entertainment Capital of the World", is an extremely popular vacation destination offering a multitude of options for shopping, dining, gambling and nightlife. The Las Vegas Strip is home to some of the most glamorous hotels in the nation, including the Bellagio with its famous dancing fountains and the luxurious 5-Diamond Venetian.

Las Vegas

Almost every hotel in Las Vegas has its own casino. Enjoy thousands upon thousands of slot machines or sit down and join your favorite table games including Poker, Craps, Baccarat, Roulette, Blackjack and more. Many casinos also have a race and sports book facility filled with flat screen TVs that show a wide variety of sporting events that you can place bets on, sometimes accompanied by snacks, appetizers and cocktail service.

The city is a shopper's dream, featuring everything from pricey high-end boutiques to outlet stores offering great bargains on brand name merchandise. The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace have an eclectic array of wonderful (and expensive) specialty shops along with the biggest and most popular designer and brand names, including Versace, Boss Hugo Boss, Diesel, Guess and Banana Republic.

If you're looking for bargains, the Las Vegas Outlet Center has everything from home décor and shoes to sportswear and accessories with some of the biggest brands at affordable prices. Be sure to also check out other great shopping spots like the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian, Le Boulevard at Paris Las Vegas, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, Via Bellagio and the Wynn Esplanade, among many others.

The restaurants in Las Vegas range from elegant to casual and offer a wide variety of cuisine, including Italian, French, American, Chinese, German, Japanese, Indian, Mexican, Spanish, Russian, Latin, Brazilian and more. Emeril Lagasse and Wolfgang Puck both have restaurants at the MGM Grand. Although many of the dining options in the city can be quite pricey, the best way to save money is to dine at the various buffets offered at many of the hotels.

Las Vegas

The gay and lesbian scene in Las Vegas is relatively small and centered mainly around Paradise Road in an area known as the "Fruit Loop". There are several gay bars and nightclubs in this area, including a few casual spots like the funky 8 1/2 Lounge, Levi and leather Buffalo and Freezone. Gipsy is one of the most popular gay dance clubs in Las Vegas with a younger crowd that arrives around midnight. The club features Go-Go Boys performances and a separate dance floor.

Though the main attractions of Las Vegas lie within the city limits, many forget about the vast stretches of desert, canyons and lakes beyond the hotels and casinos. A maze of ledges, chutes, gullies, ramps and mountains await hikers at Red Rock Canyon, while Lake Mead is a great place to soak in a hot spring while watching hawks soar overhead. Mt. Charleston is another great hiking spot, but always be sure to hike in groups, as many Las Vegas trails can be challenging. If you don't mind the drive, you can make your way over the stunning man made wonder, the Hoover Dam, on your way to the Grand Canyon in Colorado.
