Bio
I was born and raised in Honolulu and am the Website Editor for HawaiiGayTravel.com and a member of the gay community here in Hawaii. I've traveled to California, Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. as well as the islands of Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. Some of my favorite things are:
Restaurants
Macaroni Grill for Italian food, Chiang Mai for spicy Thai Evil Beef Curry, Big City Dinner for burgers & ribs, California Pizza Kitchen for wild mushroom pizza, Anna Miller's for a late night breakfast and Cold Stone Creamery for ice cream.
Night Spots
When I have time, I prefer to go out with a friend to dinner and/or the movies at Kahala Mall or Ward Center. Otherwise special dinners at home with some good DVDs are always nice.
Favorite retail stores
Old Navy, Gap, Hot Topic, T&C for great swim shorts, Payless and I'm a regular at GameStop when I'm looking for the latest in electronic gaming. My dream is to buy one of those gorgeous designer jackets from Armani, but that'll have to wait until I'm rich and famous.
Activities
I love shopping at Ala Moana Center or Pearl Ridge after pay day, going to the movies, going on picnics to Kapiolani Park and Queen's Beach to swim, read, eat and get some much needed sun for a much needed tan. I also enjoy going out with friends and trying out different restaurants with different cuisines - Hawaii has hundreds and hundreds to choose from.
Events
Christmas dinner with the family, planning a costume to wear for Halloween and New Year's Eve celebrations. I try to attend every Craft Fair and New Product Show at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall (especially when food is featured) and the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet when I get a chance.
