Diamond Head Theater, known as the "Broadway of the Pacific", has been in Hawaii for over 90 years. Founded by a theatrical group called the Footlights back in 1915, the Diamond Head Theatre was born first as the Honolulu Community Theather in 1934 before it acquired its current name in 1990.
Six mainstage theatrical productions are offered each season, five of which are major musicals that rival the performances on Broadway. Theatrical workshops and acting, voice and dance classes are offered throughout the year.
